The Gospel (“Good News”)
Generally speaking, every human being believes they are good and do good works. Is this true according to the standard of this world? Yes. However, the Bible reveals “all humans have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).” This means, it does not matter how good I think I am (Romans 12:2), or what good works I have done (Ephesians 2:8; Titus 3:5), if everything was done for self gratification, and not according to the teachings of Jesus Christ, I fall short. Therefore, someone may ask, “is there any hope,” the answer is, YES! The Bible reveals, “For God the Father so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16).” As a result, all humans need hope in life because every human has a purpose in life, and their hope and purpose is in Jesus Christ!
In short, to attain your hope and purpose in life you must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9, 10). To accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, pray this simple prayer:Lord Jesus,
I believe you are the Son of God the Father, and was crucified, dead, and buried; on the third day you were resurrected from the dead by God the Father and the Holy Spirit, to forgive my sins. Forgive my sins Jesus; come into my heart, now! Live in and for me, from this day, for the rest of my life! Amen!
If you prayed this prayer, you are forgiven and have eternal life. Now, you must get into a sound Bible teaching church to mature and preserve your salvation! If you need help with finding a church, please contact me.
